Determine and apply optimal point cloud processing methods to extract surface descriptions for geometric modelling and point cloud classification.
Assess the applicability of laser scanning and point cloud processing methods for various tasks, like surface reconstruction and 3D modelling.
Explain how to combine GNSS, IMU, and range finder measurements as well as relative sensor registration parameters to generate a point cloud.
Interpret and analyse point cloud processing results.
Evaluate the quality of laser scanning datasets.
Design survey plans to acquire point clouds taking into account the accuracy and point density requirements.
